Computer Vision Expert
RGo Robotics is pioneering an artificial perception technology that enables mobile robots to understand complex surroundings and operate autonomously just like humans. Patent-pending computer vision and AI technology comprise Perception Engine, which runs on ultra-low-cost, low-power hardware. The applications for Perception Engine are nearly endless, from AGV/AMRs in logistics and manufacturing to last mile delivery and service robots in consumer markets.
What will you do?
As a Computer Vision Expert, you will research and implement state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms for a complex on-the-edge computer vision system for mobile robots. In this role you will have the opportunity to learn new techniques with the full support of your peers and work closely with other teams to explore and prototype new product features.
MS/PhD in computer science/electrical engineering/physics/ mathematics,
At least 3-year experience in research and development of computer vision algorithms,
Strong mathematical skills,
Deep understanding of multi-view geometry and stereo imaging,
Proficient in C++.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of SLAM algorithms,
Knowledge of estimation theory, sensor fusion, Kalman filters,
Knowledge of large-scale optimization methods (e.g. bundle adjustment).
