RGo Robotics is pioneering an artificial perception technology that enables mobile robots to understand complex surroundings and operate autonomously just like humans. Patent-pending computer vision and AI technology comprise Perception Engine, which runs on ultra-low-cost, low-power hardware. The applications for Perception Engine are nearly endless, from AGV/AMRs in logistics and manufacturing to last mile delivery and service robots in consumer markets.
What will you do?
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor on all software aspects of a complex on-the-edge computer vision system for mobile robots.
Key responsibilities include all aspects and stages of product development including:

Early design & architecture,
-
Component integration,
-
Bring-up,
-
Middleware/frameworks,
-
Algorithm integration,
-
System end-to-end integration,
-
Optimizations and all the way up to user applications,
-
Significant focus on system-level software.

As a Senior Software Engineer will have a significant impact on system design (software and hardware) and will play a key role in delivering and exposing the product to the robotic market. Responsibilities will be including working with various types of customers and robotic systems.

Must have:
-
5+ years of relevant experience,
-
B.Sc. or higher in computer science or similar from a university,
-
Skilled at implementing scalable software through the use of design patterns in modern C++,
-
Highly proficient in C++ and software design,
-
Able to work across the software and system stack,
-
Able to perform fast prototyping, including hardware, software & apps,
-
Comfortable debugging complex systems.
Nice to have:

Experience in computer vision systems,

Experience in Linux and embedded Linux systems,

Experience in robotic systems,

Experience in real-time systems ,

Experience in performance optimizations.
